Back To School

Hey Guys,
Steve here.
Well I found out something very interesting yesterday! Apparently, it’s actually possible to carry out a Skype conversation with a… cat!
I was in a Skype call with Danny, trying to record an episode of my Podcast. However, Danny had to take a break in the middle to eat dinner. While he was gone, his cat started meowing for no apparent reason, so I meowed back at her to see if she’d answer. Guess what? She did! And since I still had the recording configuration used for my podcast set up, I was able to record a little ten second clip of it.

Maybe, just maybe, she was meowing for a totally different reason, but I’m humorous. So I say she was chatting with me. And it’s not like she can deny that… or can she?
Anyways, besides chatting with cats, life has been pretty good over the last month, even though school started back up last week. Most of my classes this year aren’t bad, well not really, although some of them are a real pain to get to, which is why I got lost twice so far.
Besides getting lost, I’m already getting homework. In fact, that started the second freaking day I attended geometry! However, the teacher seems nice and helpful, so I don’t think there will be any trouble there.
In addition to the homework, I’ve been having some technological issues in a few of my classes, and am afraid I’ll have to leave one of them for that reason. I don’t know what it is with Microsoft Office products, but they just keep going down hill in terms of accessibility. Worse still, they are practically a necessity in college and the work force these days, so I’m not really sure what I’m going to do once I get to that stage of my life unless something can be done.
That said, Microsoft Office is practically the back bone of the class in which I’m struggling. So unless they manage to fix their accessibility issues, I’m not quite sure how I’m going to pass that class.
On a more positive note, development with S Quad Racing, sluggish as it is, is going quite well. I had to fix some annoying bugs this evening, bugs that of course didn’t pop up until I tried to record the audio demo (figures). But rather than make sure all current bugs are patched up, I’ll just go ahead and throw together a demo recording, because in the next couple days I want to code in surfaces, but before I make such a big change to game play I really think I should get a recording of the game in its current state. Besides, that demo is pretty much 2 months over due, so yeah.
That concludes the posting for tonight. Be sure to stop by and listen to podcast episode 38, which demonstrates RS Games, and is as usual packed with mine and Danny’s twisted sense of humor. Please, listen to it. It took us 3 attempts to record that thing!
Thanks for reading,
type you later,
Steve.

Happy birthday kitty

I would like to wish my cat a wonderful 8th birthday today. I can still remember the day I got him which was Friday, December 24, 2004, 6 weeks after he was born. Since I don’t know the exact date but know what time frame (nov 7-12) he was born, I celebrate the birthday on the 12th. Please like if you are a wordpress user or comment if you are not one if you wish him a happy birthday!

how my day went

Today, I got up and went to school like normal, but had my dad pick me up early so I didn’t have to go to the pep rally. When he picked me up, I came home and took a nap with the cat, got up and ate dinner, played on the computer, did the kitchen, then posted my journal. That is all I did today.
Yes, today was a relaxing day because I had a headache most of the evening so I was pretty tired.

how my day went

Today, I got up and went to school like normal. Then, me, mom, and lib had to get Bell from the vet, since she got fixed. Well, when we came home, I did my homework, then ate some dinner. After that, I spent the rest of the evening playing on the computer off and on, doing the kitchen, showering, and playing with Trashua. Then, I posted to my blog. That is all I did today.

what’s happening

Well, there’s not much to say at this point. As you probably know, by reading my recent how my day went posts, life is average. The only anoying thing about it is, my september alergies. It almost seems that they will never leave me alone, and that they will come every september. Last week, they did make me throw up early one morning, it was either Wednesday or Thursday. Well, there is also something intresting to tell you guys about. Bell, our little kitten is getting fixed tomorrow. I wonder how that will feel, especially since she won’t be able to play around very much. As a matter of fact, she is attacking Trashua at this very moment. I can’t believe how much she loves to do that. It is as if she loves making him scream at her, because that is what he always ends up doing.
If you are wondering about Newton and Fatsie (Cassie) my two dogs, they are doing well. Otherwise, there isn’t much more to say about my passed and near future. Besides the fact that Iam stressed out from school, there isn’t much to say.
I do have to tell you, that I am making a C on my progress report for reading. Now, this isn’t something I would go bosting about to all my friends, but to whoom is currently on this site, you know now. Congradulations! You have just figured out my sucky grade in reading class. The good news is, that I am making a 90 in math. Yeah, that is pretty awesome, but it isn’t awesome that 2 of my books have been lost in that class. I am still loving seventh period. In a Daily Language review quiz we took on friday, not one person passed. That was because I hadn’t turned it in yet, since I give ms Seltzer my flashdrive on Mondays. I have givven it to her today, and hope to find that grade by 7th period tomorrow.
I am pretty sure you are thinking, “I am gonna follow this blog, so I can make fun of every bad grade Steven ever makes on his school progress reports and report cards!”
Well, sorry to bust your bubble, dash your hopes, or bum you out, but you’re very wrong. I just shared 3 grades with you, but that doesn’t mean anything. I will still keep posting to this fabuless website, but I won’t tell you every grade of every week of every 6 weeks for the rest of the year, just to let you know that right off hand.
Well, that is all I have for today, so you better have a good day yourself. Thankyou!

how my day went, warning, this won’t be long and descriptiv, because there wasn’t much to talk about

Today, I just pretty much ate, and played on the computer. There were times when I’de relax and listen to an audio book, and hang out with my sister. Also, I spent some time playing with the cat, and talking on the phone.

how my day went

Today, I got up and went to school like normal. Then, my mom, my sister, and I went over to my aunts house to get the girls’ hair cut and see the kittens. I hung out with my cousin Thomas until we left. When we did that, I came home and monitured the weather, played on the computer, ate dinner, then put up my clothes. Then, I played on the computer some more and with the cat. Then, I showered and listened to my audio book until I got on the blog. BTW, just as I was typing about 3 sentences back, the kitty jumped on the bed beside me. He wanted me to tell you, “meow meow meow meow purhrhrhrhrhrhrhrhrhrhrhr!!!”

about the cat

I just wanted to share to you some info that I learned from google, wikipedia, and other inet resorses.
1. Did you know that cats don’t just pur when they are happy? Nope, they will also pur in tence situations, or near-death states, or even during illness.
2. Have you ever wanted to know how much your cat purs? Cats pur in a freequency of 25 to 150 vibrations per second. Pretty fast, huh?
3. A sign of trust. When your cat exposes ther chest or stomach, it usually means they have a good sign of trust in you. Note, overwait cats may also lay on there sides or backs to keep comfertable.
4. Stay away! Cats will growl, hiss, arch ther backs, or twitch there tails as a sign that you have irritated them, and also they can fold back there ears. When there ears are flat, they feel threatened.
5. Do you wonder why cats arch? I know I told you for there protection, but they do this to make themselves look larger. Cats can do this to scare off danger.
