A 3 day weekend looming ahead

Hey you guys,
Steve is back with a vengeance.

Below is another epic post of awesomeness written by the world’s best writer…
Yeah, as if.
Well let’s get on with it.
My week was a pretty good one; not a lot of stress; not much in the way of homework. It was mainly filled with school, zombie smashin’, screechy violin practice, and rain.

Nothing huge has happened since the last post I made on Saturday. After posting that, my week went relatively normal. If you’re wondering if anything bad happened to me on Friday the 13, I can’t say it did. The only thing bad about Friday the 13 is the inevitable realization that no matter what you do, what you say, whether or not you manage to make your way out of Earth’s atmosphere and send it careening backwards a few days (I don’t think that’s possible but who cares), there will always be a Monday the 16th. Sure enough, that day has come and passed, along with Tuesday the 17, Wednesday the 18, and Thursday the 19. Alas, a good portion of Friday the 20th has also passed, and I can now look forward to a fantastic 3 day weekend. One during which I can look forward to at least 2 days of sleeping in, late nights filled with programming and Skyping friends, and just being chill.
Well anyway, since I got side tracked and decided to talk about the future, let’s do that thing I said about sending the earth back a few days, and recap on my week.

Sunday was a chill day. Unfortunately, although I skyped Devin, I didn’t do the podcast, so I’ll have to do both episodes tomorrow. But hey, at least they’re getting done, so I guess it really doesn’t matter much if you think about it.
On Monday, I of course went to school. That day, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday were almost identical in my routine. Going to school, knocking out homework if there was any to be done, and then programming and skyping or whatever. I have been doing far less programming than the passed two weeks, because I’m now at the stage of the scm where there are only 1 or 2 bugs here and there, and even then those bugs are few and far between. It took Devin 5 to 10 minutes of playing with the software to find one, and I fixed that. I also added the ability to add allies, computer controled players that can kill zombies and be killed as the player can.

Well I guess that about wraps up tonight’s post.

Thanks for reading,
type you later,
Steve.
P.S. We got 2 or 3 inches of rain from last night to this afternoon. Astounding, right?

updates and anoying school projects

Hey you guys,
Steve is back.

This week hasn’t been very active. I’ve been learning a programming language, bgt (a coding language where blind people like me can code our own games), and have officially programmed my first ever bgt script.
I will talk about that in another blog post, as my file den account is still under maintenence. In fact, regarding that issue, I have recently been informed that due to there hard drive restoration scheduled for the middle of next month, some of us are affected. I can tell you, that as soon as my account is back, I am archiving every single file on that account, so when the new platform is built I can get them all back up on the sight. This will be a lot of work for me, since I have links to about 60 files spread out all over this 23 page, 680 blog post website. And, I will have to update all of them! Exhausting…
right?
I thought so.

Anyway, back to my week, I got a pretty good storm recording Tuesday night. That will also be posted on the blog as soon as the file den is back up. And, as bike riding goes, I did a ride with my dad today. For some reason, it didn’t hurt, give or take a few hills. That’s beyond the overall point; I just didn’t feel nearly as much pain as I normally do.
Now, to point out the weird parts for you, The bike ride left me sick to my stomach, shaky, and I was raining sweat. Hmm… Don’t know what happened there.

Basically, there wasn’t much to my life. The only other thing that really happened, was going to spin class Monday night, and anice 3 day streek of rain.
There wasn’t anything summer like to my life besides that. On a not so cool note, I have a school project to do this summer.
On the bright side, I made it into pre-ap english, and that’s why I have that project. I have to read 2 books, one of which is pretty good (I don’t know about the other, because I never read it), and I also have to make a mask and do something else (I forgot because after all, it’s still summer vacation, and my mind just doesn’t feel like thinking school work until August 26).
Well, I will try to get that done by Wednesday, so I don’t have anything to worry about. It may not be as anoying as I said in the title of the post, but I still don’t want to do it.

Well, if anything else pops up, I will be sure to update you guys.

For now…
thanks for reading,
type you later,
Steve.

game news/blog update

Hey you guys,
Steve again.

You know the game book I’ve been ranting about? I have more exciting news for you. This game book has more adventure than I thought it would. Just in case you don’t know this about me, I love to get carried away on my work. That is why this happened:

• The island leader is Mickey Mouse, and don’t worry, in one of the up coming game book novels you will get to kill him.
• There is a turtle with a slingshot somewhere in the story.
• There is a dragon.
• There is a kitten that has a knife and gun.
• The people on the island worship Mickey Mouse, but you don’t.
• There are tones of portals
• There are some tricky hints.

Mind you, you won’t see all of these funny things, because when you leave the water (you will know what I’m talking about after playing the game), you have 3 choices. North, East, and West. Pick a branch, and ready yourself for adventure.

Here are some life updates now.

Guess what, I got Dragon Dictation on my iPod. I think it is really cool, because I don’t even have to type. Mind you, I can’t use it to type everything. Thus, I am still asking for an apple keyboard for my birthday next month.
On the other hand, I’ve chosen what I want to do for my birthday. The party is on the 23rd, and I can’t wait. My friends will be joining me for a shenanigans party, where I will do go carts, bowling, and other fun things like that. I so can’t wait for this event!
We are doing it on the 23rd because my parents have work on the day of my birthday, and the weekend after. So, that is the only time to celebrate my birthday. Plus, my birthday is a school day, and so we wouldn’t be able to do anything on that day anyway.
I have also picked out my dinner. That day, I want to go to Raising Cane’s, a place that sails chicken fingers. You know I am a sucker for those, and if you don’t just head on over to the about page.
With that being said, I think my birthday is going to be an epic day for me, my friends, and my family.

Thanks for reading this post,
Steve.
